Orbsmart DS02

The Orbsmart DS02 is a fanless Android digital signage media player designed specifically for industrial environments. Equipped with a quad-core CPU plus either 2 or 4GB of RAM and Android 7.1 or 9.0 as the operating system, it offers sufficient performance for almost all applications despite its very low power consumption. Highlights include features such as autostart (automatic startup when power is applied), 24×7 continuous operation, portrait/upright mode, touch support, native 4K@60Hz resolution (including user interface), H.265 (HEVC) support, and more.

Compact, fanless, energy efficient

The Orbsmart DS02 Android digital signage player has a high-quality build and a fanless metal casing. Continuous operation 24×7 is thus possible without any problems. The power consumption is only a few watts even under full load. Due to the compact design, the box can be mounted or hidden almost anywhere. The WIFI antenna can be unscrewed.

Quadcore CPU

Despite the extremely compact dimensions, powerful and energy-efficient hardware is installed in the DS02. The fanless quad-core processor (RK3288) plus 2 or 4GB of RAM enables smooth operation, even with demanding applications or videos. You also have a choice of 16 or 32GB of free memory.

Android OS

With the DS02 you have optional access to the full Android 7.1 or 9.0 OS version. As usual on the smartphone or tablet, the operation is simple and intuitive. The user interface can optionally be displayed in native 4K resolution. Full root access is also optionally available.

Apps without end

With the Play Store (formerly Android Market) you have the free choice over now more than 1 million available Android apps. Simply install your apps as you like. Even unavailable apps can be installed manually via .apk file.

4K Media Player

Enjoy your movies in high-definition 4K (up to 60fps) & Full HD quality. The DS02 Android DS media player supports playing 4K UHD videos (incl. H265 codec support) from a hard drive/SD card or from the network. It is a very good media player that supports many video and audio formats. That it can also display your photos & images in high (4K) quality is a given.

Connection diversity

Despite its extremely compact dimensions, this Android TV box provides you with all the important connections in addition to Bluetooth 4.0 & Wi-Fi 5 (2.4/5GHz): 2x USB 2.0 + 1x USB 2.0 OTG port, HDMI 2.0, 3.5mm audio output and 1x Gigabit LAN port. Additionally, there is a microSD slot on the back, which is great for e.g. pictures on a memory card.
