Orbsmart S68

The S68 is an extremely compact and fanless Android mini PC at a particularly low price. Equipped with an octa-core CPU plus 2 GB of RAM and Android 5.1/6.0 as operating system, it offers sufficient performance for almost all applications despite its very low power consumption. Highlights include features such as autostart (automatic startup when power is applied), 24×7 continuous operation, portrait/edge mode, native 4K@60Hz resolution (including UI), H.265 (HEVC) support, and more.

Compact, fanless, energy efficient

The S68 Android digital signage player has a clean build and an extremely compact case (11.6 x 11.2 x 1.8 cm). It also manages without a fan and is thus completely silent. The power consumption is only a few watts even under full load. Due to the low weight (600g), the box can be placed / hidden almost anywhere.

Special Features

The S68 already has the Autostart feature ex works. This means that the player boots up immediately after power is applied and the Android operating system starts. The subsequent launch of other applications (video playlist, images, browser, etc.) are also possible with simple actions. The S68 is also already rooted ex-factory, there are no restrictions. The player is capable of displaying a native 4K resolution of the user interface (UI). Portrait mode (portrait) is also possible without any problems ex-factory.

Eight-core CPU

Despite the extremely compact dimensions, a powerful and energy-efficient hardware is installed in the S68. The fanless octa-core processor (RK3368) plus 2GB of RAM enables smooth operation, even with demanding applications or videos. Even under full load, the power consumption is only a few watts. You also have just under 16GB of free memory at your disposal.

Android

With the S68 you have optional access to the full Android 5.1 or 6.0 version. As usual on the smartphone or tablet, operation is simple and intuitive. The interface has been optimized for use on a TV or monitor.

Apps without end

With the Play Store (formerly Android Market) you have the free choice over now more than 1 million available Android apps. Simply install your apps as you like. Even unavailable apps can be installed manually via .apk file.

4K Media Player

Genießen Sie Ihre Filme in hochauflösender 4K (bis zu 60fps) & Full HD Qualität. Der S68 unterstützt das Abspielen von 4K UHD Videos von einer Festplatte/SD-Karte oder aus dem Netzwerk. Er ist ein sehr guter Media Player der viele Video -und Audioformate unterstützt.  Dass er auch Ihre Fotos & Bilder in hoher (4K)-Qualität anzeigen kann ist selbstverständlich.

Connection diversity

Trotz der extrem kompakten Abmessungen stehen Ihnen bei dieser Android TV Box neben Bluetooth 4.0 & Wi-Fi 5 / WLAN-ac (2.4/5GHz) alle wichtigen Anschlüsse zur Verfügung: 2x USB 2.0 + 1x USB 2.0 OTG-Anschluss, HDMI 2.0, Optical-Anschluss und 1x Gigabit-LAN. Zusätzlich befindet sich seitlich ein microSD-Steckkartenplatz, der sich hervorragend für z.B. Bilder auf einer Speicherkarte eignet.
