The S87 Plus features powerful, completely silent and energy-efficient hardware. The quad-core Cortex-A35 CPU (AML S905W2) and 4GB DDR4-RAM enable absolutely smooth operation, even for demanding applications and games. Even under full load, the power consumption is only a few watts. You also have just under 32GB of free memory at your disposal.

Android

With the S87 Plus you have access to the full-fledged Android 11 OS version, which is particularly characterized by its stability and speed. As usual on the smartphone or tablet, the operation is simple and intuitive. Now you can finally access the Internet comfortably with your TV. The interface has been optimized for use on a TV.

Apps

With the Play Store, you have a wide choice of more than 1 million Android apps available. Install your favorite apps like YouTube, Skype or even games like PUBG or Fortnite and many more. Even unavailable apps can be installed manually via .apk file. Note: some apps have limited usability or are not compatible.

4K HDR Media Player

Enjoy your movies in high-resolution 4K (up to 75fps) & Full HD quality. The S87 Plus supports the playback of 4K UHD videos (including features such as HDR10+, BT.2020 / VP9 Profile 2) from a hard drive/SD card or from the home network. It is a very good media player that supports many video and audio formats (5.1 surround formats DTS/Dolby).

Latest codecs

As one of the few Android TV boxes on the market, the S87 Plus supports the brand new AV1 video codec (hardware video decoding). The codec enables strong data compression, which allows videos to be viewed even more smoothly and with a smaller size and data consumption.

Media Center

With the pre-installed KODI Media Center, you have full access to the extensive media interface with everything that goes with it: automated download of movie covers & detailed movie information, sorting by genre, etc. You also have access to Internet portals such as YouTube, Netflix or thousands of other media libraries.

Connection

Despite the compact dimensions, this Android TV box has all the important connections in addition to Bluetooth 4.2 & Wi-Fi 5 / AC (2.4/5GHz): USB 3.0 + USB 2.0 connection (1x used for the USB receiver of the remote control), HDMI 2.1 (max. 4K@75fps), S/PDIF, AV-Out and an Ethernet LAN connection.
